  1. Do so within 30 minutes of its ending time (recorded by referee on the score sheet)
  2. Immediately pay a $100 cash Protest Fee to the Site Director, who holds it in behalf of USAWP

6. RED CARDS
A participant who receives a red card shall not participate in the team’s next game in that division, and until the suspension is served, shall not participate with any team in any division.

Additionally, the game flow for each division is a collaborative, well thought effort to ensure every opportunity to compensate for strength of bracketing.
The seeding committee and the CCA Zone board members are confident the correct teams will qualify for this year‭’‬s Junior Olympic Competitions.

Good Luck this weekend.

POSTED MAY 04, 2011
There are some new procedures that will be in effect for this year’s JOs. USAWP encourages all participating clubs to download the Conduct of Championships from the USAWP website and familiarize yourself with all of the changes made.

Listed here are a couple of items to note (there are more, download the Conduct of Championships):

  1. Before the first game of the quals, each player must present their USAWP Photo ID Card to the table before play can begin. Any player without a Photo ID Card will not be allowed to play. If a player has not received their USAWP Photo ID card, then their existing USAWP ID Card and separate photo ID card will be allowed. Your players can log into their account and upload a photo to their card at any time and then print that out if needed or if they cannot find their card.
  2. In the event of a protest of a players alleged age, the coach of each team must have with him/her a copy of a passport, birth certificate or other government proof of age. Please remember to get copies of your player’s information for your files.

PURPOSE
USA Water Polo allocates limited entries to each zone for all National Championships. If the number of Coastal California entries for a given event exceeds the zone’s USAWP allocation, a Coastal California Zone Regional Championship (CZRC) determines the Coastal California entries. Only after USAWP reports National entries to the zone, do we know for certain that a CZRC is required at all, and its exact format (Exception: National Junior Olympics, entries allocated by formula). Completing the CZRC entry form is Step 1, and entirely separate from entry to the corresponding national championship. Step 2 is registering for the SwimOutlet.com Junior Olympics by visiting USAWP.

Teams wishing to enter a CZRC must do so by the deadline listed on the Regional JO Championship Entry Form, which MAY BE EARLIER than the entry deadlines for the corresponding national championship. PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE CONDUCT OF CHAMPIONSHIPS

DOWNLOAD:  Coastal California Zone Regional Junior Olympic Championship Entry Form

Please note:

  1. Send entries at your first opportunity, so zone can plan for CZRC’s.
  2. Fees must be received (not postmarked) by the deadlines listed on the Regional Championship Entry Form for this entry to be complete and valid.
  3. Pay one check per club, per event (prefer separate JO’s checks, boys and/or girls).
  4. All checks will be deposited immediately. If no CZRC is required for an event, the entry fee will be refunded.
  5. NO refunds for teams failing to attend the CZRC.
