Coastal California Zone 2013 USA Water Polo Junior Olympic Qualification Info

The road to the 2013 USA Water Polo Junior Olympics, in Orange County, CA begins in the CCA Zone. Coastal California Zone invites all Clubs and high schools to participate in the CCA qualification tournaments. Teams must be current members of USAWP. Each athlete must be a 2013 Gold USAWP Member, meet age requirements for individual Junior Olympics events, and complete USAWP Birth Date Verification process and affiliate to the club with which they will play for in the 2013 Junior Olympics. Age Group Qualification Tournament
May 31 – June 2, 2013 (possible 2pm Friday start time)
U10 Coed, U10 Girls, U12 Girls, U12 Boys, U14 Girls, and U14 Boys

Older Boys (updated 3-4-13)
June 14-16, 2013 (possible 2pm Friday start time)

Older Girls (updated 3-4-13)
June 21-23, 2013 (possible 2pm Friday start time)
U16 Girls, and U18 Girls (U21 Girls’ teams should contact Lori Gentry)
Location: Inland Empire area
SEEDING
Zone Qualification seeding will be based upon Cal Cup, IRONMAN, Kap 7, and CCA League finishes. Teams without finishes in the previously mentioned events will go into a draw. The seeding committee is comprised of the Clubs represented on the Coastal California Board (Commerce WPC, Foothill WPC, L.A. Premier, Rose Bowl WPC, and Santa Barbara WPC).
